springtime in D.C.
I honestly dread the days when I have to/ought to/want to I carry my camera around. Five solid pounds of weight banging my hip with each step leaves me with nasty bruises, sore shoulder and sweaty self.
But these camera days are when I take time to document things taking place around me. And right now, D.C. spring is definitely a happening worth recording.

why I do what I do
I began pursuing photography in 1998, when I hit a random phase of vanity and vowed to learn how to wield a camera so I wouldn’t look so stupid in family pictures. If I had known any better, I would’ve waited until the webcam/Myspace generation and have fit right in. Instead, I picked up a camera and eagerly began wasting time, money and film trying to master my new craft.
