I began pursuing photography in 1998, when I hit a random phase of vanity and vowed to learn how to wield a camera so I wouldn’t look so stupid in family pictures. If I had known any better, I would’ve waited until the webcam/Myspace generation and have fit right in. Instead, I picked up a camera and eagerly began wasting time, money and film trying to master my new craft.

Fast forward 12 years. I’ve lost the braces, still have the glasses, care much less about my physical appearance - but ironically dress way better. And now I rarely make an appearance in any photos because I’m too busy documenting life around me.
It’s funny how one’s perspective changes, isn’t it?
These last twelve years have been nothing like my childhood dreams led me to anticipate. Instead, I’ve cried a lot more, lost a lot more, fought a lot more, struggled a lot more, loved a lot more, lived a lot more, and learned a hell of a lot more about who I am supposed to be. Along the way, my photographs have helped me celebrate events, memories, and people who would otherwise fade into a blur - the moments that have made my life worth living.
Let me help you remember yours.
